The annual East Cambridgeshire School Arts Competition was officially opened on Friday.
Hosted at the Babylon Gallery, in Ely’s Waterside, and organised by the Ely-Hereward Rotary Club, the exhibition saw more than 250 entrants.
The exhibition was attended by both the mayor of Ely, Councillor Lis Every, and the deputy mayor, Councillor John Yates.
Caroline Cawley, director of ADeC, said: “This show is one of the highlights of the gallery calendar and it was wonderful to see over 250 entrants, their teachers and friends and family attending our preview night.
“The winners were judged by an independent panel who chose the winning entries on the combination of artistic skill, creativity and self-expresssion.”
The exhibition continues until Sunday and is open daily from 12-4pm. See www.adec.org.uk for more information.
