Caped crusaders from TV, film and comic books were hunted out in Witchford this month during the village’s third annual Scarecrow hunt.
Superhero-themed scarecrows of all shapes and sizes were scattered around a trail on July 10, and hunters were tasked with picking them out and logging their progress on a special chart.
Wonder woman and Superman were just two of a whole host of inventive scarecrows that were hidden away for the event which was part of the village’s annual festival.
The event was a big success, and organiser, Shelley Davies-Bloss, took to Facebook to thank all those involved.
She said: “Wow, what a day! Thank you Witchford.”
