MAGISTRATES have decided that a man charged with driving dangerously and failing to stop after two young people were injured in Fordham, should be dealt with at Cambridge Crown Court.
Daniel Vickers is accused of driving a Jeep Cherokee dangerously on the A142 Newmarket Road on July 28.
He is further accused of arson, destroying the £2,000 vehicle belonging to Peter Crotty by fire; and fraudulently obtaining £40 worth of fuel by giving a false name.
He is also charged with drink driving, and driving the Jeep without insurance or a licence.
Vickers, 32, of Friday Street, West Row, is due to be committed for trial before Cambridge Crown Court during a hearing at Ely courthouse on January 31.
