A LORRY driver was seriously hurt on Monday afternoon when he crashed into a lamppost in Haddenham, dumping 20 tonnes of manure on to the road.

The crash happened at 2.20pm in New Road, closing the road in both directions for several hours.

Diversions were set up on the A10 directing traffic away from the village and the Air Ambulance took the driver to hospital.
