A LORRY driver caught using a hand-held mobile phone while travelling along the A14 at Swaffham Bulbeck has been fined £60. Scott Palfrey, 34, of Peterhouse Close, Bury St Edmunds, told Ely magistrates he had answered the phone, but had not talked on it.
A LORRY driver caught using a hand-held mobile phone while travelling along the A14 at Swaffham Bulbeck has been fined £60.
Scott Palfrey, 34, of Peterhouse Close, Bury St Edmunds, told Ely magistrates he had answered the phone, but had not talked on it. He had three points endorsed on his licence, and was ordered to pay costs of £35 and a £15 surcharge.
