Students from Witchford Village College attended a road safety lesson with a difference on Friday when Megadrive visited. The 180 youngsters from Year 11 were given a chance to try out a Formula One car simulator which showed the teenagers the difference when driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The multi-agency event was the second of its kind held in the district this year and was organised to mark UN Global Road Safety Week. Youngsters were also given a chance to take part in a competition and winner Helen Woods will now be attending a 16 plus driving experience at RAF Alconbury to learn more about safe driving practices.
