Garner, 35, of New Barns Avenue, Ely, had admitted giving a breath test reading of 56 mcgs of alcohol in 100 mls of breath, when the legal limit is 35 mcgs.
City magistrates ordered Garner to pay £50 costs and a £15 surcharge.
