East Cambs District Council has launched a Dragon's Den style competition to offer one local business the chance to win a fantastic three-month business package.

The winner will be someone who is currently running their business from home and the prize, worth £1,500, includes free office accommodation for three months at e-space north in Littleport.

The three-month package will include the following free of charge:

n 150 sq ft office

n Business rates

n Broadband

n Phone Line

Entrants will face a Dragon's Den style panels of business leaders who will ask them questions about their business.

All entrants must be aged 18 years or over, have been running a business for three months or more from a home address and live in East Cambridgeshire.

e-space north is a friendly, open business centre in a pleasant rural setting. The building based in Littleport, provides relaxed informal meeting areas, green spaces and on-site catering. The Dragons

Debbie Davies - editor of the Ely Standard. Debbie brings media and promotional savvy to the panel with a keen eye for a business as her unique selling point.

She will be testing entrants on their ability to promote and marketing their business.

Jo Pooley - partner with Pooley, Bendall and Watson Solicitors in Ely. Jo brings a wealth of experience in helping to run a successful solicitors practice and working with businesses on company, partnership and commercial law.

Chris Grey - deputy manager of the Ely branch of Barclays Bank. Chris offers the Dragons' panel an analytical insight into the nuts and bolts of business finance bringing the experience of a bank that deals with more than 1000 local small businesses in Ely and the surrounding areas.

Roger Hetherington - local advisor manager, Business Link East. Roger has helped to advise more than 150 businesses grow and prosper with his Sage council. Having held several senior commercial management in his own right, Roger has the experience and expertise to know what works in the business jungle.

Gary Hartwig - managing director of Packwell D & S Limited based in Chettisham. Gary brings the panel 20 years' of front-line experience of managing and developing businesses. He can spot the building blocks a firm needs to be successful.
