WITCHFORD VILLAGE COLLEGE
Witchford Village College has taken delivery of a double decker bus that will be converted into an “interactive learning space”.
The vehicle, donated by Greys of Ely, will be used as part of a project, named SPARK, aimed at students to “identify skills, talents and expertise”.
Daniel Baxby, college principal, said: “The SPARK bus is a long term project for the college.
“It is to raise the aspirations of our students through enhancing the individual SPARK in all of them.”
Georgina Wright, assistant principal in charge of the programme, said: “The programme is designed to identify any student’s particular skills, talents, expertise and potential and provide them with the opportunities to enhance them further.
“This SPARK could be directly related to their school activities or their interests and hobbies outside of the college.
“Thanks to the huge generosity of Grey’s, our new bus will allow us to provide an additional learning space for our programme for the future.”
