THE Lisa Barnes Memorial Fund was brought £1,000 closer to its target thanks to some generous donations over the Easter Holiday.
Funds were collected from Chatterbox café in Soham and the Co-op in Wisbech Road, Littleport, were tickets were on sale for an Easter raffle.
Ely’s Premier Travel held a holiday event at the Atrium Club and a mega Easter raffle was also held. A collection and raffle took place at Sainsbury’s on Easter Saturday, and, on Easter Sunday, the draw for the raffle took place at the Townhouse pub in the city.
The winner was John Cruickshank from Ely. Second prize went to Mrs Hewitt From Swaffham Prior and the other prize winners were won by Holly Gilbert and Mr Richardson, both from Ely.
