Pizza lovers of Soham, rejoice – a new branch of Domino’s Pizza is opening in the town in less than a week.

The fast food giant is to open a new shop on Churchgate Street on Monday (December 18), meaning that those with a hankering for a Hawaiian or passion for pepperoni will no longer have to make the long 5.8-mile pilgrimage to Ely for their pizza fix.

The chain’s arrival in Soham will also serve up 25 new job opportunities, including pizza makers, customer service workers and those all-important delivery drivers, who drive long through the night to drop delicious cheese and tomato-covered dough to your doorstep.

Ricky Kandola, SK group operations director opening Soham Domino’s, said: “We’re thrilled to be opening our doors to the people of Soham, and we’re celebrating the opening by offering any size pizza for £6.99 when collected and 50 per cent off when you spend £30 or more online.

“There’s also plenty of employment opportunity for people living in Soham, so we look forward to welcoming local pizza superstars to join our growing team.

“In particular we’re searching for delivery drivers, who can provide exceptional customer service, and demonstrate integrity, honesty and reliability, as well as being pepperoni passionate for freshly made pizza.”

Domino’s offers full induction training, complete with “all the tools and skills needed to become the leaders of tomorrow,” according to the pizza firm.
