Dr Linda Cross was awarded her Open University degree in art history at a ceremony in Ely Cathedral earlier this month.
She was educated at Littleport Primary School, Ely High School and the City College before being accepted at Bart’s Hospital in London as a medical student. She qualified in 1983.
The ceremony took place on Saturday June 11.
Linda is married with two children and works as a G.P. in Suffolk.
