ELY police have issued CCTV images of a group of people they want to track down in connection with shoplifting at a Littleport supermarket.

Staff at the Co-op store reported two incidents last month, on May 11 and the second on the following day.

In the first incident, three girls were seen to enter the store at about 7.30pm. They are believed to have each filled up a hand basket with goods, one of which contained just over £30 worth of alcohol. Two of the baskets were left behind in the store while they took the other containing alcohol and left without paying.

The girls are all described as aged between 18 and 24, slim, blonde, wearing jeans and pink sweaters.

During the second incident, two girls and a young man were seen to enter the store at about 8.18pm. They are believed to have filled up two hand baskets, one with baby products and one with alcohol.

The basket of baby products was left behind in the store while the basket of alcohol, worth about £50, was taken from the shop and the three left without paying.

One of the girls is described as between 18 and 24, heavily pregnant, with long brown hair and wearing a floral top and jeans.

The second girl is described as 5'6", with long blonde hair, wearing a white top with writing on the front, white trainers, a watch and a bangle or bobble on her wrist.

The man is described as about 5'10", with mousey medium to long wavy hair, clean shaven and wearing a dark green tee-shirt and jeans.
