AN inaugural meeting of the Soham Disability Forum was held yesterday (Wednesday).

Disability campaigner Gerri Bird and Soham resident Colin Palmer have set up the forum to give disabled people the chance to discuss the issues which are important to them.

"It's a chance to talk about everything. For disabled people, a kerb in the wrong place can be a big issue

"We also want to talk about wider issues of transport, employment and access," said Mr Palmer. "We've got to campaign to get things done."
