AFTER 30 years of cooking school dinners, Margaret Goodge, stacked away the pots and pans and said goodbye to the youngsters of Stretham Primary School.
To mark her retirement the youngsters wrote songs and poems which they performed during a special final assembly and presented Margaret with gifts as a reminder of her time at the school.
Gifts were also presented by Tom Lowther, chair of governors and Jenny Howard on behalf of the school's Parent Staff Association.
Margaret is pictured with some of the pupils who performed at her retirement party.
