The Rotary Club of Ely held its annual president's dinner night at the Witchford Social Club Hall last week.
There was a good attendance of club members and wives, and it was generally agreed that the menu was excellent, with its good and varied selection, making the evening most enjoyable.
The speaker, Steve Taylor, marketing and communications director of Sue Ryder Care Homes, gave an amusing speech, well presented and with good humour, keeping the audience entertained.
President Mike Axford gave his speech to thank all the members of Ely Rotary Club who helped him during his year of presidency.
