MOTORIST Gavin Dewey has denied driving without due care and attention in St Thomas Place on October 2 last year.
Dewey, 20, of Lawn Lane, Little Downham, is accused of driving in the offside lane to overtake a car in a dangerous position, directly across the T-junction where St Thomas Place meets Sir James Black Road, when he appeared to be racing.
The date of his trial will be fixed at a court hearing on March 30.
