A kind-hearted five-year-old is having her hair chopped off to raise money for charity.
Daisy Hunter-Williams, from East Cambridgeshire, has been growing her hair for the last year, but decided she would like it cut to help The British Heart Foundation.
The charity is close to her heart - as family members have been affected by heart conditions.
Daisy’s hair will also be donated to The Little Princess Trust who provide real hair wigs free of charge to children suffering hair loss as a result of cancer treatment or other illnesses.
In a statement on her JustGiving fundraising page, it reads: “The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives.
“It’s only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures.
“£24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.”
The big chop will take place on July 2 at Emma and Co Hair Design in Soham.
