Cyclist suffers “serious injuries” in collision with car

A cyclist suffered serious injuries after colliding with a car near the Lancaster Way Business Park.
The East Anglian Air Ambulance and land ambulance crews were called to Witchford Road at about 11.20am today (Friday).
A car and a bike had collided, leaving the cyclist with what police described as “serious injuries”.
The cyclist, said to be man in his 20s, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, in Cambridge.
The road was closed by officers at its junction with Grunty Fen Road.
