A cyclist who died following a collision with a car in Cambridge has been named.
Anthony Whitten, 64, of Gilbert Road, Cambridge was cycling along Newmarket Road on Wednesday (29 November) at about 9.15pm when he was involved in a collision with an orange Ford Focus C-Max.
Sadly Mr Whitten died at the scene.
PC Matthew Bill from the Road Policing Unit, said: “I’m keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision or saw Mr Whitten in the moments leading up to the collision.
