A man from Witchford has died after suffering a heart attack while riding his bike on Saturday.
The man, in his 50s, came off of his bike while riding in Moulton Road, Cheveley, near Newmarket, at about 10am.
The air ambulance was called and assisted paramedics at the scene. The man, who has yet to be identified, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital but later died.
A spokesman for the East Anglian Air Ambulance said: “Anglia Two were called at 10am to a male cyclist in his 50s who had fallen from his bicycle. After treatment at the scene the patient was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with the East of England Ambulance Crew.”
