A SIX-week curfew was imposed on Stretham man Stuart Hewlett after he admitted breaching his 18-month supervision order.

Hewlett, 32, of High Street, suffers from liver disease and sometimes finds it difficult to keep appointments with the probation service, Ely magistrates were told. But he had failed to produce medical evidence within the require time frame.

Hewlett was originally given a supervision order last October, for an offence of making off without paying for fuel. The curfew order requires him to stay indoors between 7pm and 7am.
