THE Second Soham Cubs were working hard for Children In Need on Saturday (12) when they took part in a bag pack at the James Graven store in Clay Street.
“They were fantastic”, said James Graven’s community liaison officer Caroline Bosworth. “They were polite, well trained and super good at packing”, she added. “It was a joy to have them in the store”.
The Cubs worked in rotation between 10am and 1pm and raised 334.42 for the charity. They were gaining credits for their Community Badge, part of which requires them to raise money for a third party charity, as well as helping children less fortunate than themselves.
