LITTLEPORT teenager Trevor Loveridge is facing two charges of aggravated vehicle taking and driving while disqualified, and on Thursday was committed to stand trial at Cambridge Crown Court.
Loveridge, 19, of Parsons Lane, is accused of taking a Rover Metro without the owner's consent in Queen Adelaide on September 22, driving it dangerously, and driving while disqualified and without insurance.
He is further charged with taking a Ford Fiesta in Hale Fen at Littleport on September 25, causing injury to a police officer, and driving the vehicle while disqualified and without insurance.
Loveridge was remanded in custody by Ely magistrates on Thursday, and is due to appear at the Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on November 30.
