A MAN was caught on CCTV smashing the window of a shop on Fore Hill, Ely on May 11.

ALCOHOL was stolen from the bar of a house on Qua Fen Common, Soham on the night of May 10.

A GANG of 20 drunken teenagers smashed a window in High Street, Soham at 10.50pm on May 10.

A WATCH was stolen from a shoplifter at Tesco on Angel Drove, Ely. As the man was involved in a scuffle, his watch fell off his arm and was picked up by a woman at around 4.35pm May 10. The man was accused of stealing four pairs of sunglasses.

A GARDEN in Cloverfield Drive, Soham was set on fire on May 9. The arsonist had put a broom handle between conifers and the fence and used a flammable liquid, possibly petrol, to start the fire.

AN attempt was made to steal lead flashing from a stable roof in Church Lane, Snailwell on the night of May 9. Two men came back the next morning with a ladder but were disturbed and drove off in a white van at 11.30am.

A HOUSE in City Road, Littleport was burgled between 6.45 and 8pm on May 9 when a bathroom window was left open.

AN attempt was made to burgle a house in Camping Close, Haddenham, on May 9 at 7.45pm. A man posed as contractor doing work next door and said he needed to turn off the homeowner's water supply. The homeowner got suspicious then noticed a second man rifling through the bedroom and both men ran off.

A similar attempt was made earlier the same day at a house in Victoria Street Littleport, again involving two men. They tried to jemmy the front door at 7.20pm and were heard by the owner, who caught them searching the bedroom. The men ran off.

PART of a digger was stolen from a redevelopment site on Clay Street, Soham on May 8.

AN opportunist vandal picked up a spade from the front garden of a house in Brook Lane, Stretham, after talking to the homeowner. The incident happened at 5.30pm on May 8.

A VAUXHALL Cavalier was stolen from Rudlands Close, Isleham on the night of May 7.

AUDIO equipment was stolen from a car on Abbey Close, Burwell on the night of May 7.

MEAT was stolen from a shop on High Street, Soham at 2pm on May 7.

STEEL was stripped from farm machinery left overnight in a field in Aldreth on May 6.

A FORD Fiesta was stolen from Heaton Drive, Ely between 4.30pm on May 5 and 4.30pm on May 6.

AN attempt to steal a car was made in Abbot's Way, Ely on the night of May 5. The cowling was removed and the car was driven 100 metres down the road.

A CATAPULT was used to break the glass door of a house on Ely Road, Littleport on the night of May 5.

A HACKSAW was used to break off the steering wheel of a car in Tilling Way, Littleport on the night of May 4. Vandals did not steal the Vauxhall Cavalier which was parked at the back of a house on the road.

A HOUSE on City Road in Littleport was burgled on the night of May 4. Thieves went down the side passage and forced their way in through a small window.

BRASS ornaments were stolen from a shop on High Street, Littleport, between May 3 and May 5. Shop staff locked the store at 4.30pm on May 3 and returned at 9am on May 5 to find a window smashed and the items stolen.

A FORD Sierra was stolen from Sennitt Way, Stretham between May 2 and May 5.

BUILDING materials were stolen from a site on Station Road, Wilburton on April 25.
