A WASHING machine was stolen from outside a new-build property in Turner Drive, Ely on morning Wednesday (21), between 10.15 and 10.45am.

A RIDE-ON mower was stolen from a Snailesdale Road, Old Bank, Prickwillow on Wednesday (21), between 8am and 1.45pm.

A TRAILER was stolen from Qua Fen Common, Soham on Wednesday (21) between midday and 1.30pm.

FLOODLIGHTS on Fountain Lane, Soham were smashed by vandals, between 4pm on Tuesday (20) and 7am the following morning.

TWO hanging baskets were stolen from Bloomsfield, Burwell on Monday night (19).

A DISTINCTIVE purple and orange motorbike was stolen from Chatteris Road, Mepal on Tuesday (20) between 2.10pm and 2.45pm. The owner had seen a white Ford Transit van hanging around the area at the time.

A CAR was set on fire on the A10 on Monday night (19). The owner of the Toyota Celica abandoned the car when they were unable to change the wheel, but when they went back at 1.20am the car was burnt out.

FLATSCREEN televisions were stolen from Tesco's warehouse at Angel Drove on Monday (19), between 5.50 and 6pm. There were suspicions that one member of staff helped the man to bypass the alarm system but the men were then interrupted by a third member of staff.

A MAN attempted to steal eight games consoles from a shop in Market Place on Monday afternoon (19), but when he ran out of the fire exit on the first floor, he set off the alarm and jumped off the roof without the consoles.

METAL thieves stole copper piping and an immersion tank from a site in Hasse Road, Soham on Monday (19), between 7am and 5pm.

MEN were caught on CCTV removing diesel from three vehicles on Station Road, Sutton, at midnight on Monday night (19), using their own equipment.

GARDENING equipment and power tools were stolen from a secure shed in River Lane, Fordham, on Monday (19) between 7.15 and 10.15pm.

A BIKE that had been advertised for sale was stolen from East Fen Common, Soham on Monday (19). A suspicious-sounding man had phoned up to make enquiries about the bike before it was stolen but failed to keep his appointment to view it.

DIESEL tanks on Barway Road, Soham, were attacked and damaged on Sunday night (18).

VANDALS wreaked havoc on the new play equipment at Burwell recreation ground.

They stubbed out cigarettes on the a plastic sandpit lid and tried to wrestle it off, demolished a picnic bench, graffiti-ed silver spray paints across the tarmac and on pieces of play equipment between midnight on Sunday (18) and 9am the following morning.

A MOTOCROSS bike and helmet was stolen from Brook Street, Soham on Sunday night (18). The green and white Kawasaki bike and green helmet were taken when thieves broke the lock off a wooden door to the garage, between 7pm and 7am.

VANDALS broke into the land drainage pumping station in Upware between 5pm on May Saturday (17) and 9am on Monday (19). This is the second time the place has been vandalised, but nothing was stolen.

A RADIO was stolen from a yellow excavator at a farm in Barway, near Ely, between May 16 and May 19. Thieves who took the two-way radio also damaged the excavator door, which had been left locked.

A house in Gateway Gardens, Ely had its ground floor window smashed between May 16 and May 19.

A JOHN Deere-branded ride on lawnmower was stolen from a back garden in Head Fen, Pymoor, between May 16 and May 19.

A COPPER earthing cable was cut and stolen from Wilburton Road, Haddenham between May 15 and May 19.

HORSE riding tack was stolen from a metal container on Prickwillow Road, Isleham, between May 12 and May 20.

FARM equipment was stolen from Linden End, Dolves Drove in Aldreth, between May 10 and May 19. A large crease roller was taken which would have been difficult to transport without a large vehicle.

VEHICLES parked in a storage facility in Isleham were damaged on April 24.

Five cars in the lock up on Hall Barn Road had their windows smashed between 9am and 5.30pm.
