Standing crop caught fire in Angel Drove, Ely yesterday.
Four crews, including teams from Ely, Littleport, Newmarket and Soham, were called to the incident at 5.25pm.
Firefighters arrived to find an area of standing crop measuring around 300 by 300 metres on fire and extinguished it using beaters.
They returned to their stations by 7.25pm.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
