Creative pupils at Weatheralls Primary School, on Pratt Street, spent the day designing cards featuring their favourite festive characters, including Father Christmas and Rudolf.

A Weatheralls spokesman said: “They created some wonderful designs which were judged by a range of staff. Well done to our budding artists.”
