Boys and girls were encouraged to bring their own pumpkins to Littleport Leisure Centre this morning for a carving session.
Ahead of Halloween weekend, the craft session welcomed 25 children aged between four and 10 who got suck right in and were certainly not afraid to get their hands dirty.
After putting their own creative marks on the pumpkins - some even bigger than the children’s heads - they proudly displayed them for all to see.
Clare Pendle, receptionist at Littleport Leisure Centre, said: “Everyone seemed to really enjoy it.
“Even the mums had a go at carving some pumpkins aswell.”
The leisure centre will continue their fright night activities tomorrow with a Halloween disco.
