A MEPAL pedestrian killed in a collision with a Ford Transit van has been named.

Michael Cornwell, 41, of Brange Hill Lane, Mepal, was killed on the Witcham Road at 5pm on Tuesday. The blue transit van driver, 44, and his 20-year-old passenger were unhurt.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision who are asked to call Cambridgeshire police on 0845 456 465 4.
