TRAVELLERS who set up an illegal camp on an Ely business park have been threatened with court action.
Council enforcement officers served a notice on the caravans on Monday and are waiting for the city's magistrates' court clerk to set up a hearing date.
Four caravans moved on to the Cambridge Business Park last week and East Cambridgeshire District Council issued an enforcement notice demanding they leave the site within 48 hours.
Over the weekend one caravan left and now council officials may have to take action through the courts to evict the other travellers.
