PYMOOR villagers celebrated their eighth annual agricultural and country show on Saturday as hundreds of visitors poured through the gates of the showground.

The event offered attractions for all ages and raised cash for The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution, the British Wireless for the Blind and The Alzheimer's Society.

BBC Radio Cambridgeshire presenter, Sue Marchant, was on hand to entertain the crowds and the Ponies UK Show gave riders the chance to qualify for its national championships.

The English School of Falconry organised a display by birds of prey and a tug-o-war competition proved popular.

Beginners were given the chance to try their hand at a Clay Shoot with advice from the experts and pet owners tested their dogs' speed and agility in the Scurry 25-metre dash.
