LAST Sunday was Pentecost and the day's services were based on the gift of the Holy Spirit. Prayers were said for the world and needs of individuals today and the collection, made after Holy Communion, will be given to the people affected by the earthquake in Java.

After the 5.30pm prayer meeting, pastor Lowman based his talk on Isaiah 6 verses 1-13 'the great encounter'. The various youth groups met during the week. On Monday, evening the craft and chat group met. Yesterday (Wed) the evening prayer meeting was based on the needs of the 'suffering church world-wide'. Tonight the elders and deacons met for their monthly discussion on church matters. Tomorrow morning (Fri) children from St Mary's School will visit the church to learn about the church and our involvement in the local community. Next Sunday, pastor Lowman will lead both services.
