AT the Fellowship Hour on March 22, captain and Mrs Boyd from the Salvation Army at Littleport led the service. They were joined by other ladies and gentlemen and their ministry was through song, readings and a talk given by Capt Boyd.
Sunday morning praise and worship was led by Louise Lomax. As it was Mothering Sunday the women of the church were each presented with a Polyanthus plant and also a book token which the Sunday School children had made. Pastor Lowman continued with the Lent studies and spoke on 'living lovingly'.
In the evening, pastor Lowman spoke on 'things truly Christian' from James 1 v 19-22.
On Wednesday evening, Ely Community College held a Springtime Concert in the church and on Saturday morning the Elders and Deacons will have a prayer time. In the afternoon, the bowls club will hold their session from 2.30pm-5pm. Both services next Sunday will be led by the pastor and Holy Communion will be celebrated at the morning service.
