SUNDAY morning service of worship was led by Mr Waters, accompanied by the music group. The talk to the young children was based on 'faith' followed by their lesson, praise and worship. Pastor Lowman spoke on the second aspect of the Lent series, which was 'temptation'. Mr Bellinger led the worship on Sunday evening, which included a time of prayer. The 501 club met at 8pm for a session on worship and prayer. Today (Thursday) a thanksgiving service for John Mueller, a former member of the church who recently passed away, takes place in the church at 3.15pm. Tomorrow at 2.15pm, Women's World Day of Prayer at St Peter's Church, Broad Street. Ladies will unite from the churches in Ely for a time of Bible reading, singing and prayers prepared by Christian women of Paraguay - the theme being united under God's 'tent'. Both services on Sunday will be led by Pastor Lowman. Holy Communion will be celebrated during the morning service.
