FAMILY service on Sunday morning was led by Pat Booth. The third Advent candle was lit. A puppet sketch by Becky, John and Sam was a modern version of the nativity play.

Christmas carols were sung. People also gave our cards with the meanings of Jesus written on them. The 5.30pm prayer meeting took the form of thanks-giving and intercessory prayer. Phil Murfitt led the praise and worship at the evening service. Pastor Lowman spoke from John (chapter 5).

The 501 Group held their Christmas party in the hall. The craft and chat meeting was held on Monday afternoon and we recommence in the new year.

Pastor Lowman will lead next Sunday morning's service.

The 6pm carols by candlelight will be held on Christmas Day and the Countess people will join the Methodist church for their service.
