SUNDAY morning's service was led by Pastor Lowman. For harvest thanksgiving, the church was decorated with flowers and donated produce of tinned and packet food. This will be given to the women's shelter in the local area. It was also the Tear Fund Sunday and slides and readings on Bolivia, one of the poorest countries in the world, were shown. After the service, a 'frugal lunch' was held in the hall and a collection taken, which along with the church collection was given to the Tear Fund.

The youth service at 6.30pm was led by Paul Garner, who took as his subject 'cracking the Da Vinci Code'. On Wednesday, the church was open from 7am-8pm for the Churches Together in Ely Day of prayer and fasting for the church and city.

This morning, the Ely Ministers Fraternal meet at 10am to pray, seek the Lord and discuss the work of the churches. At 8pm the Sunday school leaders meet at the home of Julian and Helen Atkinson.

On Sunday, there will be a baptismal service at 10.30am, for Lucy Bruce and Adele Macro. The evening service will be led by Pastor Lowman.

A warm welcome to all who would like to join with us at any or all of our services.
