THE theme of the family service on Sunday morning was 'listening' and will be based on Samuel Chapter Three. The praise and worship included hymn and chorus and focused on the same theme. Joanne Sammons gave the message. Following the 5.30pm prayer meeting, the evening service was based on The Promised Land. Rob Betts was the preacher and in his talk he referred to scriptures from both the old and new testaments. Rob Booth led the Holy Communion, which included prayers for people within the fellowship. The craft and chat group met on Monday afternoon for a time of outdoor painting. The prayer meeting was focused on the London mission and included a DVD of its work.

This evening, the elders meet to discuss the vision of the church and other matters. Both services on Sunday will be led by pastor Lowman.
