ANDY Watson led the praise and worship at the Sunday morning service. His talk to the young children was about the ups and downs in life. He illustrated this using the game of snakes and ladders.

Pastor Lowman continued his series on haggai under the heading of 'the best is yet to be' from chapter 2. The theme of the message was one of encouragement.

Rob Booth began the evening service reading Psalm 126, a theme of praise and thanks-giving. The worship was based on the above theme.

Pastor Lowman spoke on Psalm 2. The 501 Club met at the home of Mr and Mrs Heffer for a discussion in family relationships.

Pastor Jim Mullin was the speaker at the Fellowship Hour on Wednesday afternoon. Today (Thursday) Christians from the churches in Ely will meet from 7am-1pm for a day of prayer for the city of Ely in St Catherine's Chapel in the cathedral.

The housegroup met for a time of Bible study, prayer on Thursday. On Saturday morning, from 7am-8am, people from the church will meet to pray.

On Saturday afternoon at 2.30pm, the induction service of the Rev Malcolm Duncan at Mortimer West Chapel, being one of the Countess Connexional Churches, takes place and Pastor Lowman will attend the service on behalf of the countess Church Ely.
