The monitoring and recording of CCTV in Ely in Soham is a local responsibility, and the City of Ely Council, Soham Town Council and Ely Constabulary are on the hunt for volunteers to keep track on the recording of footage.

Volunteers will be required to work for only a few hours per week, and will be trained to national standards after passing the required clearances.

Current members of the CCTV team will be on hand to offer advice to potential new team members at the Ely Police Station Open Day on Sunday September 11 between 12pm and 2pm.
