Fire crews were called to a collision between a car and a van on the A1303 near Stetchworth on Friday night.
A crew from Burwell and one from Newmarket were called to the crash which left one casualty trapped in their car.
Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to release the casualty who was then left in the care of ambulance crews.
