THE City of Ely Community College celebrated a double success this spring after a successful OFSTED inspection.
As well as the school's inspectorate highlighting many of the college's good features, including its improving A level results, it also re-designated the college's specialist Business and Enterprise status.
The decision means that the college will continue to receive additional funding over the next three years until OFSTED conduct their next inspection.
Acting Principal Richard Baker, said: "The signs for the future here are very good with students of all ages at the City of Ely consistently making progress and achieving well, the staff are committed to continuing that trend and thereby increasing opportunities and aspirations.
