THE society has recently issued the schedule for its Great Autumn Show. This year's event, the 80th, will take place at Ely Paradise Centre on August 25 and 26. The show will include all the usual classes, including, fruit and vegetables, many varieties of flowers, handicraft, photographic and home-made produce. There are also special classes for children and young people.
The organisers are hoping for a bumper show to celebrate the 80th anniversary and would like to see some of the traditional entries and products make a come back, such as entries in the rose classes, flower arranging and home-brewed beers.
