Chairman Grace Bent handed over the cheque for the money raised through various fund raising events, after hearing a very informative talk about the charity from CamSAR representative Lisa Chapman.

Twenty four exhibits were entered into the club’s flower arranging competitions, including five separate classes. The standard of entries was extremely high in both the beginners and advanced classes, which made it very difficult for members and visitors to choose their favourite arrangement in each class.

The next meeting of the club will be on Thursday July 11 at 7.15pm. Doors open at 7.00pm. There will be a demonstration by Judy Barham, with the theme theme “Childhood Memories ”. Everyone is welcome.
