City of Ely Council to host community litter pick

The City of Ely Council has organised a community litter pick to take place this Sunday, October 22, from 10am until 12pm.

The event is supported by East Cambs District Council, East Cambs Safety Partnership, Ely and Littleport Timebank, the Ely Scouts and Rotary International.

The group will meet at the Sessions House and return to the Sessions House for tea and biscuits.

Hi-visibility jackets and litter pickers will be available on arrival and everyone is welcome to help clean up the city. Wear strong boots and appropriate clothing including rain wear.

Residents at encouraged to choose an area or place they would like to improve and let the organisers know on the day or in advance by calling 01353 661016.
