A young man named William has put a smile on the face of one East Cambridgeshire police officer thanks to a special Christmas card.
The boy, who lives in London, had to go to hospital with a broken arm after his last visit to Ely.
PC Dennis Williams cheered William up a bit with a ride to hospital in the police car.
Dennis said: “I would like to thank you for sending this lovely Christmas card.”
He added: “Happy Christmas William, we all hope your arm gets better soon.”
