PARENTS of reception children at Spring Meadow Infant and Nursery School were delighted by a performance of Mary's Knitting last week.
The nativity story was re-told through songs and dance and followed the journey of Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem, where Mary knitted a blanket for her baby boy.
Children at the school also celebrated Christmas with a week of arts activities.
Parents visited the school on Friday, where they had the opportunity to look at the festive work and displays and enjoy a mince pie.
# PUPILS from two Ely schools will provide seasonal entertainment at carol services next week.
Hereward Housing holds annual carol services for its residents, and this year they are on Monday and Tuesday.
