Representatives from Cambridgeshire County Council and Sutton Primary School gave a presentation on the proposed children's centre.
This is a Government initiative for children aged 0-5, enabling existing services to work together and reach approximately 800 children in Sutton and the surrounding villages. It will be a base for the Paintbox play group who will pay rent to use the facility. Funding for the project is available until 2010 and Sutton Primary School will manage the budget. It is hoped the centre will be open for spring 2008.
