East Cambridgeshire PCSO Annie Austin visited Swaffham Bulbeck Primary School on Monday morning to meet and speak to the pre-school and reception children about ‘people who help us’.

During the visit the children had the opportunity to try on Annie’s uniform and listen to the control room over her radio.

“The children were very enthusiastic and had many questions, including whether Annie had a siren and did she drive a SWAT car?” said a police spokesman.
