A LITTLEPORT teenager who admitted a string of thefts was described as "a child in crisis" at Ely youth court.

The youngster admitted stealing a satellite navigation system and CD discs; handling a stolen speaker; and asked for nine theft offences to be taken into consideration, including the theft of a motorcycle and the theft of two tyres.

The court gave the youth a curfew as part of his bail conditions, and adjourned sentencing until November 12, for a report to be prepared.
